Credits: 300 ECTS (10 semesters)

Studying Dentistry in Georgia (equivalent to BDS in India) is a 5-year English-taught program that prepares students to become skilled and confident dental professionals. The curriculum is structured as follows:

Pre-clinical Years (Year 1–2)

Students gain foundational knowledge in subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, and Microbiology — similar to Medicine, but with a stronger dental focus. These years include practical lab work and the basics of dental materials and techniques.

Clinical Years (Year 3–5)

From the third year onward, students undergo intensive clinical training in university-affiliated dental clinics. They gain hands-on experience in fields such as Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Endodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry.

Upon graduation, students earn the title of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) — a degree recognized globally.

With affordable tuition, skilled faculty, and modern clinical training, Georgia offers a strong path for those aiming to build a career in dentistry.
