Credits: 360 ECTS (12 semesters)

Studying Medicine in Georgia (equivalent to MBBS in India) offers a globally recognized 6-year MD program, taught entirely in English. The curriculum is divided into two main phases:

Pre-clinical Years (Years 1–3)

Students build a strong foundation in the basic medical sciences, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology. Learning is supported by interactive lectures, laboratory work, and early patient exposure.

Clinical Years (Years 4–6):

The focus shifts to hands-on training in real hospital settings. Students rotate through major departments such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, and Psychiatry in affiliated clinics and hospitals.

Upon completion of the program, graduates earn the title of “Physician” or “Medical Doctor (MD)”, a degree that is recognized globally.

With its affordable tuition, European-standard education, and globally aligned curriculum, Georgia is an excellent choice for aspiring doctors with international ambitions.
